"NOWHERE TORUNTO BLOAT CAMO" SWINGMAN JERSEY

Produced by the folks at Mitchell & Ness, and officially licensed by the Toronto Raptors, the "NOWHERE TORUNTO" Swingman Jersey is my favourite piece in our collection. 

I wanted this jersey to land in familiarity, but still feel like it was signature LL, and signature me. 

The front printed appliqué features the Dino Era Raptors logo, and the wordmark I remember seeing on Toronto jerseys in their earliest years in the NBA. The type has sharper forms, and a thicker black stroke that used to say "Toronto" inside of it in the early renditions of the Raptors logo. This is an element about the jersey that I was very firm on getting right, as it's often done differently on replica jerseys. 

In place of the front number is a reimagined LL logo with a nod to the Raptors claw.

The back of the jersey says: "NOWHERE TORUNTO" or "NOW HERE TO RUN T.O." - an LL property that I originally conceptualized in 2009, and began using on printed tees and sweaters in 2012. In order to fit the double name, a reversed nameplate is used below the number "15" - which is both a salute to Vince Carter, and a commemorative signifier for TheLegendsLeague 15 Year Anniversary.

Superimposed onto the Raptors lightning bolts, my Bloat Camo pattern acts as a backdrop for the applied elements, mimicking design features of the piece I created alongside Esmaa Mohamoud for the Raptors 25 Year Anniversary at Nuit Blanche. 

I designed a custom Championship woven patch to be applied to the rear neck of the jersey, celebrating The Chip we took home in 2019.
